About
My main is Raesa, a level 80 Draenei priest. I play on Shattered Halls-US. The name of my guild is Catalyst, of which I am one of the original founders.
I started on SH when it was semi-new and have stayed there since, bearing all the trials of a low-pop server where Horde outnumbers Alliance and no one on the Alliance side can get along. Alliance has more guilds looking to progress than actual players to sustain the numbers for all the guilds but nonetheless, we persisted.
Catalyst was founded on the beliefs that the people behind the toons are real and we all play to have fun. I like to think we have some of the best people on the server in terms of being real, good-natured people who just happen to be competent players.
I, myself, was shadow for a very long time. I leveled as shadow and progressed through Karazhan as such. When it came time for 25-man raids, the detriment of a low-pop server took its toll and I needed to respec holy to heal and I haven’t looked back since.
Now that Wrath of the Lich King is here, I leveled as shadow from 70-80 and now trying out the Discipline PVE spec. I’ll share my experiences with the new talents right here as I figure out what I’m supposed to be doing for myself as well.
With all of that in mind, I see this blog as a way to offer my insight and my experiences to the WoW blogosphere, in hopes that what I say will help another priest in some way somewhere out there, no matter how miniscule.
Hey Raesa,
I’m building an index of WoW information and I’ve recently added 4 links to Violaceous Mana in various categories. Each ‘Listing’ has a link, summary, user rating, as well as spaces for full description and images which are available to website owners.
You can see a search page of your listings here to get an idea of how the site works:
http://www.worldofwarcraftjunction.com/search/violaceous%20mana/?ordering=newest&searchphrase=exact
This may be an incomplete list of links for your site. For instance I don’t scan through all the posts on a blog and generally just follow front page links and often times, but not always, subject tags.
Forums are now open and have threads for posting additional link requests for new content, or changes and error fixes in existing listings. You can also email me personally if you have new content you would like listed. Feel free to make my email available to staff but direct users to the forums please.
Though WoW-j has a large and useful amount of information already, it is still young and growing daily. It’s future is very much open to discussion or suggestion and any feedback is really appreciated.
Good Luck and Thanks,
Rich ‘Lasitus’
